REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Prefer previous experience working for Best Buy and/or Target. Thorough knowledge of CE products & industry required. Strong negotiation skills a must.. Demonstrated leadership ability with 5+ years experience in a business sales management setting, including managing inside and outside sales roles. Director of Marketing, Nashville, TN

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy as well as overseeing the development and coordination of marketing programs, communication campaigns, branding, web strategy and trade show management. He/She works closely with sales team and external vendors in driving sales for all products, reinforcing the company and brand image, and developing the company's marketing & sales support materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develops overall marketing strategy and Timeline with COO.  Oversees all brands and responsibility for maintaining brand integrity in  all positioning, cmmunications, and promotions. Create and supervise all marketing programs.. Supervise logistics for event/trade shows including budget, participation, position and attendance. Responsible for all catalog, sell sheet and sales support materials.. Manages marketing relationships with key vendors.  Manages deliverables from PR Agencies.. Manages new content for website and web-sales.. Manages Product and Development strategies . Develops customer recruitment and retention programs.. Maintain a monthly log of competitive activities by visiting customers and store locations, reviewing press clippings and internet research.. Participate in the weekly sales calls providing information for the sales team regarding new and on-going marketing activities.. Create a web based catalog that can be continuously updated and refined.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Director of Marketing will supervise the brand management, market research and industrial design groups as well as outside vendors and consultants engaged to support the marketing initiatives.Key Working Relationships: Reports to COO & CFO. Works closely with all internal departments as well as external clients and vendors.

II. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for an individual to perform at a satisfactory level. Reasonable training is provided.

Education: Preferably MBA and a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, English or similar degree, and/or equivalent experience.

Experience developing and implementing a market strategy in the Consumer Electronics Industry . Very Knowledgeable of the Apple Accessories (iphone, ipod .), FM Transmitter, Personal Audio, Mobile Phone markets . Direct Response Marketing Director -
El Segunda, CA

World-renowned skincare company seeks a dynamic, seasoned Direct Response

Marketing professional with extensive DRTV experience to head up its Direct Marketing Acquisitions initiatives. Ideal candidate will have extensive production and campaign management experience and will understand how to bring a personal care product to market.

This position will be responsible for strengthening the company's existing direct marketing resources and infrastructure, reorganize all processes where necessary to ensure optimal performance and develop programs and strategies to grow the Direct customer database and increase revenues and profits.This position reports to the EVP, Direct to Consumer and works closely with the Direct to Consumer team. Responsibilities include:Establish objectives and strategies to increase market share and exceed annual goals through DRTV and alternative electronic retail. Identify key short term and longer term partnerships to support DRTV And National Print campaigns and marketing efforts, particularly focused on new customer and lead acquisition.

Oversee all facets of infomercial long form and short form production, including testimonial recruitment, talent relationship management, product configuration, pricing and positioning, market research, etc. Ensure that we are AFTRA compliant and timely and accurate with AFTRA and talent payroll payments.  Oversee all facets of alternative media production, including radio, mobile and viral.. Develop, negotiate and maintain production budgets.. Ensure that all production elements are within brand and also drive our Global Brand Awareness initiatives.  Drive creative versioning for alternative use, including in-store loops, you tube, webisodes, and other social media.

Drive testing strategy for new creatives and product offers.. Leverage media in all direct venues to create cross-channel synergies between direct channels and corporate channels. Work with Global Marketing to utilize electronic media as an advertising and branding vehicle for the company as a whole.

Develop programs designed to increase database of company's direct customers and mine database to maximize customer retention. . Identify areas for expansion within the DRTV and electronic retail arena. Work hand-in-hand with "back end" team on optimizing media buys,generating leads, driving continuity conversion and meeting other business objectives.

Proficient in understanding media, telemarketing and other steps in the acquisition process, to optimize campaign. Will work closely with media director, customer service and tsourced vendors.. A winning combination of creative, strategy and analytics..

DRTV production experience.. Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. . Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.. Strong team player.

Finance and analytical skills.. Highly intuitive with a pulse on the marketplace.. Technical skills in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to manage celebrity talent.

Bachelor's Degree required in related field; MBA preferred.

Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience preferably in the beauty arena.
